- 1/2 cup brown sugar or honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Optional: ginger, chili, or sesame seeds for extra flavor
Instructions
- Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and vinegar to a saucepan.
- Stir in minced garlic and optional ingredients like ginger or chili.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring to prevent sticking.
- Once it starts to boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes until it thickens. Done!
Notes
Store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to three weeks. Can be frozen in small portions.
