Description

Murzynek is a simple and delicious chocolate cake that is easy to make and always a hit.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 200 g butter or margarine
  • 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Optional: vanilla sugar, nuts, chocolate icing

Instructions

  1. Start by melting the butter with sugar, milk, and cocoa in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Once combined, set aside half of the mixture for icing later.
  3. In the remaining mixture, add eggs and sifted flour with baking powder.
  4. Pour the batter into a baking pan.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes at 180°C (350°F), checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  6. Spread the reserved icing over the warm cake.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for a fluffier cake. Do not substitute butter with oil, as it may affect texture.
